Spirit: soul, vital force, life force. I hope to communicate this in all my works, from the abstraction of “Know Your Fortune” and “2025” to the more representational “Air, Earth, Fire, and Water” series. I work in acrylics, oils, oil pastel, and watercolor; in every case I hope to honor the animals—and trees, plants, rocks, water, and humans—that animate the world., as well as the human spirit (of play, of sorrow, of love) that animate all of us. We are all—humans, plants, animals, water, stone, fire, earth—all connected.
